The tour is hosted by Stig, born and raised in Bergen, sommelier, former restaurateur, and seasoned captain, who brings guests into his world of local flavours, stories, and Bergen’s evolving culinary scene.
His family has lived off the land and sea for generations, from farming and fishing to trading cured meats down the mountain trails to Bergen’s markets. Today, he shares these traditions in his own way, through food, storytelling, and genuine hospitality.
Guests will explore Bergen by foot, tasting their way through the city.
Every stop has its own story, and we tailor the experience based on dietary needs and preferences, which we like to receive in advance.
