For 1.5 hours, Alf navigates through the rustic waterways of Bergen, turning the fjord into a living history book. He shares tales from his life as a sailor, diver, aqua engineer, and seafood pioneer, and reveals the deep connection he has with these waters.
As you cruise toward the island, Alf shares the real story behind Cornelius, from humble beginnings to becoming a culinary icon shaped by weather, tradition, and the Norwegian coast.
Its dramatic location even inspired the film The Menu, after screenwriter Will Tracy visited Cornelius and was struck by the dramatic fjord arrival and atmospheric setting.
As you approach, the restaurant appears almost sculpted from the sea itself. Alf welcomes you ashore with the warmth of a host welcoming you into his own home.
